This date probably is wrong, since there is no mention of a PKC open house in the newspapers that year. On May 27, 1953 the company did host a well-attended event for interested community members and prospective employees. Here, two workmen show what is likely a "Printweigh" industrial scale manufactured by the Toledo Scale Co.
