Description

From across the Silver Lake Outlet this postcard shows several of PKC's structures in the early 1900s. At the front are Mills #1 and 2, with a smokestack to the left of them. A smokestack to the right marks the engine house for Mill #3.

The postcard's message of 21 Aug. 1906 reads: "We were through this place Friday night. We are going out in the country today. Mabel"

The Rice Collection annotation reads: "From a post card showing the Perry Knitting Mills in Perry on August 21, 1906 looking from the Walnut Street Bridge."
