According to the Rice Collection annotation, "The Mill sponsored a bowling team and these six individuals went to the 28th Annual New York State Championship Tournament, held in Niagara Falls in 1961." <br />

Pictured from left to right are: Melanie "Mel" Lynch, Eileen MacQuarrie, Betty Dunning, Marjorie "Marge" Ostrum, Inez Brant, and Ruth "Ruthie" Palmer. All were regular participants in the Women's PK Bowling League, which pitted teams from Unit I, Unit II, the Cutter, and the Office in weekly games. Judging from their consistently high scores, this represents a sort of "Dream Team" from the PK.
