Short clip from the opening of Griffith's silent film shows a young Kentucky mountain girl (played by Mary Pickford) rejecting the advances of a pure-hearted suitor (Owen Moore). It is of interest here because it was shot on location near Cuddebackville, NY, with the Neversink River in the background. During the early days of film nearly two dozen such movies were produced there.
