Description
East Avon gasoline station with modest cabins for travelers was located on the Avon-Lima Road beginning in the early 1930s. Later it was expanded and renamed Wally's Inn, then eventually Foster's Inn after its new owner John Foster. It was a popular location for receptions and fundraising dinners. It was demolished in the late 1970s due to construction of Interstate 390.
