Geneseo is a small town in upstate New York and while it does not have as much to offer as larger towns, its small businesses are what make it memorable. Aunt Cookie’s Sub Shop is one of those businesses. Known for creating some of the most delicious subs, Aunt Cookie’s is a must go to destination for anyone who visits Geneseo. Since becoming a student at SUNY Geneseo, it has become one of my favorite places to go and eat after a long, stressful day of classes.

The trip to Aunt Cookie’s Sub Shop is sometimes painful, especially when you aren’t adjusted to walking up the endless amount of steep hills the campus offers. However, even when you’re out of breath, you know you made the right decision to stop here for lunch.
While the shop is quite small, it exudes a very homey feel that makes you want to stay for hours. The smiling faces of the cashiers are a prime example as to how friendly and welcoming the people of Geneseo truly are. Not only are the people that work there friendly, but they have a gift for making the most delicious subs you have ever tasted. I know when I order my sub that I must eat it all. Nothing can remain in front of me. And once I am finished, I sink into a much needed food coma filled with pure delight
