Title
Description
This cottage has a long history, almost entirely due to the writer Edgar Allan Poe and his wife, Virginia Clemm, occupying it at the end of their lives and in poor health. The building lay in neglect, eventually was moved, and now is preserved by the Bronx County Historical Society.
