Climate Change Poems by Migrants
Description
This collection of poems were written during the early 2000s by migrant farmworkers participating in the Geneseo Migrant Center's Creative Artists Migrant Programs Services (CAMPS). The writings were facilitated and translated by poet Janine Pommey Vega. They describe the effects of pesticides, desert crossings into America, and broader ecological warnings.
The five poems were collected for a StoryMap entitled Scorching Existence, and likewise are printed here for an exhibit page of the same name.
